1. Information we collect
The App does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, location, or contacts, and it does not create IDs that identify your device or you. The only information the App sends off your device is for purchase verification in the apps (Section 3), delivery and visitor analytics of the web version (Section 4), automatic play records (Section 5), progress transfer (Section 6), and the play environment included when you open the survey (end of Section 2).
2. Data stored on your device
To let you play, the App stores the following on your device. Apart from some of the records described in Section 5 and progress you choose to transfer (Section 6), it is never transmitted.
- Game progress (save data)
- Play history, achievements, and collection progress
- Play statistics such as play time, number of launches, and run results (for attaching to feedback or bug reports)
- Settings (volume, game speed, vibration, etc.)
- Whether you have purchased the Full Version (apps only)
The provider receives your full play statistics only if you copy them yourself with "Copy play record" in the settings and paste them into an email or survey. Any statistics we receive are used only to improve the game.
The survey opened from "Feedback & bugs" in the settings uses Google Forms by Google LLC. When opened from the App, its first field, "Play environment", is pre-filled with the app version, where you play (web version or app), whether you have the free or Full Version, and the names of your OS and browser (for example, "v0.1.1・Web版・無料版・Android 14 / Chrome"). This text is included in the survey URL and reaches Google, but it contains no name, email address, or information that identifies your device or you. You can review, edit, or delete the field before sending, and the provider receives only the answers you submit. The survey is set not to collect email addresses. Answers are used only to summarize feedback and fix bugs. See Google's privacy policy.
Uninstalling the app deletes this data. Depending on your Android settings, the operating system's backup feature (provided by Google) may back up app data; that is governed by Google's privacy policy.
In the web version, this data is kept in your browser's storage (local storage). Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it. Some browsers, such as Safari, may also delete it if you do not visit the site for a while (about 7 days). The web version does not use cookies.
3. In-app purchases (apps only)
The Full Version is purchased through Google Play (or the App Store). Payment information is handled by the store and is never received by the provider.
To verify and restore purchases, the App uses RevenueCat, Inc. When you purchase or restore, and when the App starts, an anonymous user ID generated by the App, your purchase records (product, date, store transaction ID), and basic device and app information (OS, app version, country/region) are sent to RevenueCat. This data is used only to verify purchases, never for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The Full Version cannot be purchased in the web version, and the web version sends nothing to RevenueCat.
4. Web version delivery and visitor analytics
The web version and our website are delivered through services of Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, information needed for the connection (such as your IP address, browser type, the page you opened, and the time) reaches Cloudflare's servers and may be kept as access logs.
To understand how many people visit and how fast pages load, we also use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or on-device storage; it aggregates the pages opened, the referring site, browser and device type, country/region, and page load times. It is not used to identify individuals or to track you across sites, and the provider only sees aggregated figures.
See Cloudflare's privacy policy. The apps contain their screens and data, so they do not make these connections to play (except for the play records in Section 5 and progress transfer in Section 6).
5. Automatic play records
To find out where the game is too hard or unclear, the web version and the apps send the following events to the provider's server when they happen:
- The App was launched for the first time
- "New Game" was pressed (the number of runs started on the device so far)
- A run started (the chosen character, which run this is on the device, whether it is the first run, a trial, or a King's Trial level, and the number of days played so far)
- The first match of a run was finished (which run this is on the device)
- A boss was defeated, a run ended, or a run was abandoned (the stage number, win or loss, and the time played in that run)
- The Full Version screen was opened (where it was opened from)
Each record also includes whether it came from an app or the web version and the app version. No name, email address, device or user ID, device model, or location is sent. The server does not keep IP addresses or other connection information with the records; it stores only the time each record was received. Records therefore cannot be used to identify you or to link records from the same person.
Records are stored with services of Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages and D1) and are used only for aggregate statistics to improve the game. They are never used for advertising or tracking and are not shared with third parties. Records are deleted two years after they are received.
You can stop this by turning off "Send results automatically" on the screen opened with "Feedback & bugs" in the settings. Nothing is sent from local test builds or from copies of the web version hosted anywhere other than the official URL (yesyourmajesty.lifehack-app.com).
6. Data held for progress transfer
When you choose "Transfer to the app" in the web version's settings, your progress in the web version is held on the provider's server and an 8-character transfer code is shown. Entering that code with "Transfer from the web version" in the app imports the progress into the app.
- Only game progress (run history, achievements, the relic collection, defeated bosses, and similar) is held. It does not include your name, email address, any device or user ID, settings, or purchase information.
- The data is deleted as soon as the app receives it. If it is not received, the code stops working after 24 hours and the data is then deleted.
- The server does not keep IP addresses or other connection information; it keeps only the code, the progress, and the expiry time.
- The data is stored with services of Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages and D1) and used only for the transfer. It is never used for statistics, advertising, or tracking, and is not shared with third parties.
- Anyone who knows the code can import that progress until it expires, so please do not share your code.
7. Advertising and analytics
The App shows no ads and contains no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools. Visitor analytics for the web version is described in Section 4, and automatic play records in Section 5.
8. Children's privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.
9. Sharing with third parties
Apart from the survey (Google Forms, Section 2), purchase verification (Section 3), delivery and visitor analytics of the web version (Section 4), storage of play records (Section 5), and holding progress for transfer (Section 6), each of which uses another company's service, no information is shared with third parties.
10. Changes
